I just came across this cool list of questions and answers about what’s ahead for us this season on Fringe. I know I can’t wait to see what happens on each episode.
Fringe: Leslie – Please tell me about Fringe, will Olivia and Peter hook up in this season? We’re not aware of any actual hookup for the remainder of the season although they do share some more intimate scenes Lewis R. – Most of the fans of Fringe, prefer the mythological episodes over the strandalone one. When Fringe comes back in April, will there be more mytholocial/history episodes, or standalone procedural-type episodes? From what we know we will certainly be getting a good dose of mythology although the procedural elements will still remain. Richardos_Alpert – Will we have more “over there universe” episodes in Fringe this season and if so, when? We’ve heard that there is at least one more but we’re not aware which episode(s) this will be, sorry Larissa – Any scoop on Peter’s shady past? We’ve not had anything in a while. Nothing that we’ve heard Ryanne Sullivan – When is Peter going to find out about himself and who is going to tell him? We’ve heard that this will be revealed this season Nick Lee – In the second season premier, our shape-shifting foe seemed to be taking orders from someone communicating from the “other side”; Will we get any idea as to who was giving the orders, or how that damned type-writer works? We’re not aware that they will answer the typewiter question but we’ve been told that we will see more of the “other side” Shaun – Will we ever find out the origin of those freaky bald guys? We’ve been told we’ll certainly seem them again but we’ve no info on how much of their history will be revealed. McKailabug – Please tell me that when Peter finds out about the other side that he will not leave Fringe? He is such an awesome character! We’ve had no reports that Peter will be leaving Ellie – Will we ever get to go back to Jacksonville and see more of the facility that William Bell owns? We’ve heard no reports that we will be returning Alisa – So, I must admit, although “Jacksonville” was an amazing episode, it left me a bit anxious on the Peter/Olivia front. What’s in store for us P/O fans?! We’re not aware of any actual hookup for the remainder of the season although they do share some more intimate scenes [Source: SpoilerTV]

SpoilerTV has just released its latest predictions for the fate of the current television series. A couple of them seem to be old information, but for the most part, this seems correct.
Episode 2.10 Grey Matters Airdate: December 10, 2009
Press Release: DR. WALTER BISHOP’S BRAININESS TAKES ON NEW MEANING AND WILLIAM BELL RETURNS ON AN ALL-NEW “FRINGE” THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10, ON FOX
A Fringe investigation is triggered when a patient at a mental institution undergoes an impromptu brain surgery that unexpectedly leaves his brain exposed. Despite the unthinkable circumstances, the patient’s condition and sanity miraculously improves before the Fringe team arrives. While Agent Dunham and Peter scan surveillance tapes (and Walter enjoys his pudding), Olivia recognizes a familiar face as Thomas Jerome Newton (guest star Sebastian Roche), the leader of the “shape-shifters.” As similar cases stack up, the Fringe team heads back to the lab to determine exactly how patients are being cured. Walter’s brains are put to the test and William Bell (guest star Leonard Nimoy) resurfaces in the all-new “Grey Matters” episode of FRINGE airing Thursday, Dec. 10 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FR-210) (TV-14 L, V)
Cast: Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham; Joshua Jackson as Peter Bishop; John Noble as Walter Bishop; Lance Reddick as Phillip Broyles; Kirk Acevedo as Charlie Francis; Blair Brown as Nina Sharp; Jasika Nicole as Astrid Farnsworth
Guest Cast: Leonard Nimoy as William Bell; Sebastian Roche as Thomas Jerome Newton; Roger Cross as Smith. [Source: FOX]
We all recognize Kirk Acevedo as Agent Charlie Francis on the show Fringe. Even though on the show he had an unfortunate run-in with a shapeshifter, he’s a great actor in real life. Please join with me in sending him happy birthday wishes on his 35th birthday today.

Fringe Thursdays on Fox I don’t think there is a show this season that has gotten the shaft more than Fringe. Moved to a competitive Thursday-night time slot and preempted by baseball, Fringe has recently hit series lows in the ratings, which prompted fans to fear for its life. But fear not, Fringe folk, Fox likes the show—and it’s obvious. This Observer-week promo isn’t happening because the net is bored, it’s happening because Fox wants the show to survive. And it wants Fringe back for Season Three. And it will be back. And then we’ll meet alternate universe Astrid who will be a major ass-kicker! (I hope) Verdict: It will be back, and hopefully on another night. [Source: TV.com]

Question: I miss Olivia’s sister and niece on Fringe. Will they be back this year? They showed Olivia’s softer side, something this season is lacking. —Sebastian Ausiello: The niece is back in this week’s fantastic Observer-themed eppy (the first three minutes of which you can watch here), but Olivia’s sis is MIA. Ari Graynor’s busy movie career keeps getting in the way of a return engagement, but producers aren’t giving up. If the scheduling can be worked out, we will probably see Rachel by season’s end. When will we learn more about the Observers on Fringe? — Cal MICKEY: On Thursday’s episode, we’ll meet August, who is just as bald and hairless as last season’s Observer (who is rumored to be named September, by the way). It seems that August is doing more than observing, and his meddling could threaten a woman’s life… or death. We’ll also learn that Observers have been present for many calamitous historical events, and that they’re gearing up for the next one, which, sadly, includes Olivia & Co. [Source: TV Guide]

Question: Any scoop about this week’s Fringe? If the previews are any indication, it looks like a keeper. —Al Ausiello: Even gravel-voiced, stone-faced FBI agents have a softer side. And we get to see it when the usually serious-as-a-heart-attack Broyles gets embroiled in a case from the past that has a special personal meaning for him, so much so that he even steps on a few interagency toes to solve it. Contaminated cosmonauts and conspiratorial cover-ups abound. Plus, who knew the “Intelligence” in “Central Intelligence Agency” was extraterrestrial? (Okay, I kinda did.) [Source: EW]
